Meandering Shawarma

We are all nomads, bedouins and gypsies --- always on our feet in quest for glory, fortune, love, happiness and fulfillment. I am Filipino yet the best part of my life has been spent in the vast deserts of the Middle East. My culture clashed with a lot of things. Sometimes, I see a different person in the mirror. I am a shawarma. I am a meandering shawarma. My quest is to be home soon. How soon? Only this blog will eventually tell.

Angst

Some members of my family and my extended family really knows how to antagonize me. The height of stupidity of these people who actually suggested that I might be pushing my younger brother, Carlos, to be illegally recruited in Bahrain.

They may have heard of some blood relatives who have done this crime but to actualy condemn me of the same? C'mon?!

When Carlos is still desperately looking for a job, they gang up on him claiming my brother is lazy. Now that Carlos has finally landed a job, they are raising another matter.

Well, a criticism is just that - a negative feedback if it is not accompanied by suggestions for improvement.

In the first place, I should be questioning their motives for raising hell against Carlos.

The height of you! And you are my family?

Thank you!
